PATHWAY workshop at the XVI Jornades AEFiQ Curie (Spain)
A workshop titled "Innovant la metodologia: ensenyament de les ciències experimentals basat a la indagació" (ENG: Innovating the teaching methodology: teaching experimental sciences through investigation") was organised on May 26, 2012 in El Pinoso (Alcantí) at the IES José Marhuenda Prats del Pinós. The event took place within the XVI Jornadas de intercambio de experiencias para enseñar y aprender Fisíca y Química of AEFiQ Curie (The Assiciation for teaching Physics and Chemistry Curie).
The workshop organised by the UB team aimed at introducing the inquiry-based learning methodology (IBSE), to identify the most significant elements of IBSE and to discuss the skills taught through these methods. The participants have experienced at first hand the IBSE methodology by participating in a practical inquiry activity. The activities lasted for 1.5h and involved the participation of 25 people, many of them teachers.
