About Eugindat

The present project is an integrated approach that links genetics, biochemistry, genomics, physiology, structural biology, drug development and clinics for better understanding and treatment of primary inherited aminoacidurias. The creation of mouse models with defects in amino acid or peptide transporters proposed here will have an impact on our knowledge not only of renal handling but also of nutrition, and of pathological states such as some forms of cachexia and selected disorders of the central nervous system.
