Computer rooms
These are located on the first floor of Building B, at Stairway E, and they cater to the faculty’s teachers, students and administrative and service staff. This service regularly runs introductory and train-up courses in basic computer knowhow and computer-related subjects

Computer room rules
At each terminal, users should:
- use only those programs already installed;
- save files only on the computer’s D: drive (a temporary resource, which is regularly cleaned by the supervisor);
- take care of all the equipment provided and inform the supervisor of any problem they find on arrival or are themselves responsible for;
- respect their classmates’ need for silence and support an atmosphere conducive to study.
Users should not:
- eat, drink or smoke on the premises;
- change the configuration of the units in the computer;
- save files on the computer’s C: drive;
- log in to chat programs;
- install new programs on the computer.
Users should also remember that when there are more users than terminals available, students needing to complete online projects or courses will be given priority, and that any user showing disregard for the rules above will be expelled from the premises.

Photocopy service
The photocopy service Farmacopi-Librería Estudio is located in Building B and has its own workshop, Signo Impressió Gràfica, which offers typing and bookbinding services for dissertations, theses and other academic assignments, and general graphic design services.

Student Common Room
This 120 m² room is located on the first floor of Building B at Stairway E, and is equipped with lockers and a kitchen annex with a sink and microwave ovens. Opening hours are Monday to Friday from 8.00 am to 9.00 pm. Between 1.00 pm and 4.00 pm this room is reserved as an eating area and outside those times it can be used for social or study purposes, or else for some other specific activity if this has been booked at the porter’s lodge (the ‘consergeria’).
Student Common Room rules
(as approved by the Faculty Board, 30 January 2001)
- The use of this room is restricted to faculty members, which means Pharmacy students, teaching and research staff, and administrative and service staff.
- Opening hours are Monday to Friday, from 8.00 am to 9.00 pm.
- The room has been designated a non-smoking area.
- Between 1.00 pm and 4.00 pm, use of this room is restricted to those students wishing to make and eat their lunch and the kitchen annex will be open from 12.30 midday to 4.00 pm.
- From 8.00 am to 1.00 pm and from 4.00 pm to 9.00 pm, the room can be used for social or study purposes, or else for some other specific activity.
- Students wishing to use the room for some specific or organized activity must make a formal reservation at the porter’s lodge.
- Through the Administration of the Centre, the Faculty shall be responsible for the general maintenance of the room, its installations and related services.
- In the first instance, a user’s committee shall be instituted to take charge of the overall daily operation of the room and to ensure that measures are taken to guarantee this operation.
- The committee responsible for drawing up the rules shall monitor the way the room is being used for a period of six months and then meet again to decide on any adjustments or additions that need to be made to these.
- All users of the room will comply with the rules set out above and endeavour to ensure that the room and its facilities are properly used.
Student Room
This room is located is also located on the first floor of Building B at Stairway E, and is managed by a user committee comprising student delegates in the Faculty’s governing bodies.
Any student group or association wishing to use the room should contact the student delegates.

The Rey Center Bookshop
The Rey Center Bookshop is located on the ground floor of Building B, just behind the porter’s lodge. The bookshop stocks publications in the degree areas of the Faculty, Pharmacy-related books and stationery.

Sports Club
The Sports Club manages all the sports activity organized at the Faculty, and one of its main jobs is to coordinate the participation of the Faculty’s different teams in the sports leagues at the University’s sports facility, the UB Sports Service.
