Elisabet Comelles Pujadas

Elisabet Comelles Pujadas is an Adjunct Lecturer in the Department of English and German Philology at the University of Barcelona, where she teaches English Lexicology and Morphology and Descriptive Grammar of English. She holds a PhD in Linguistics from the University of Barcelona. She is a member of the GRIAL-UB group (Linguistic Applications Inter-University Research Group – University of Barcelona) and she has collaborated with the GRELIC group (Lexicology and Corpus Linguistics Research Group) since 2008. Her research interests include natural language processing, machine translation, machine translation evaluation and corpus linguistics.

She has worked for several language technology companies and was a member of the TALP group (Centre for Language and Speech Technologies and Applications – Technical University of Catalonia) for 6 years, where she focused on machine translation, natural language generation and question answering.
