The Library
The Phylology Library collection is part of the UB Library’s philology section. It is housed in the Historic Building in the Plaça de la Universitat.
The Philology Library is on the first floor of the Pati de Lletres and the main entrance is in the corridor next to the UB’s Paranymph Hall. This Library contains newspapers and periodicals, a reference collection, the English and German collection, the Italian collection, the Linguistics collection and the newly incorporated Greek collection. Since 1997, it has also included recently acquired works that are on set reading lists.
The Spanish Library and the Latin Library are also housed on the first floor of the Pati de Lletres.
The Romance Languages Library is on the ground floor of the building at the end of the car park. This Library includes collections for courses in Romance Languages, French, Catalan, Galician, Portuguese, Slavic Languages, Spanish, the Theory of Literature and Comparative Literature.
