The body responsible for admission to the research period of the program is the Studies Committee for the program. The specific requirements for admission to the research period are to have successfully completed 60 ECTS credits on one of the master's programs included in the training period for this doctoral program.

The Studies Committee for this doctoral program may also admit students whose previous studies are not those of the training period. In deciding whether to admit these students consideration will be given to whether the studies they have completed are similar or in related fields and to the student's interest in carrying out research in one of the areas offered in the doctoral program.

In both cases, to be admitted students must have successfully completed a minimum of 300 ECTS credits, between their bachelor's and master's degree studies. To accede to the studies of doctorate it is necessary to fulfill the general requirements established to the academic corresponding regulation and the specific requirements of admission established for the concrete studies of doctorate that want to be done.
 The commission of the studies of doctorate is the manager of solving the admission to the studies. In this process, the commission assigns to the student a line of search, a few directors of thesis and a tutor, if it proceeds.
In case of students with qualifications sent by institutions of top education foreign to the European space of top education, the resolution of the access corresponds to the rector or to the person that delegue.
 Once consulted the offer of programs of doctorate, the coordinator has the mission to report on the content of the studies and the requirements and steps for the access and admission.
The candidates interested to acceding to the period of investigation of the program of doctorate have to put in touch with one of the coordinators of the lines of investigation, which, according to the profile and curriculum of the candidate, he will propose the acceptance in a department of the Faculty. In this case, the department will propose to the Commission of the Program of Doctorate his admission in the program under the direction or tutorship of a teacher or investigator of the department.
