I completed my degree in Geography at the
University of Extremadura and defended my PhD thesis at
the University of Barcelona in 2009. Nowadays, I am a postdoctoral researcher at the
Institute for Atmospheric and Climate Science
My research interests are the
and temporal variability and trends analysis of cloudiness and sunshine duration
series, with their spatial and
temporal variations during the 20th century.
Also I am interested in weekly periodicities detection in climate
variables linked to anthropogenic activities.
The PhD thesis research
under the supervision of Dr.
Javier Martin-Vide (University of Barcelona) and Dr.
Josep Calbó (University of Girona). At this moment my research is supervised by Dr. Martin
