The Faculty of Geology and the Jaume Almera Institute of Earth Sciences at the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) jointly publish the international earth science journal Geologica Acta, which features research articles and thematic groups of papers on conceptual and regional developments in the field. The journal aims to stimulate the dissemination of research results and findings between earth scientists, with special emphasis on research communities in the Mediterranean, Latin America and the Caribbean.
