Basic data:

I initiated myself into scientific research with a PhD about the Flora and the Vegetation of a Pyrenean territory, especially aimed to floristics and vegetation typology. I have worked in fitocoenology, mainly in the Pyrenees, and I have interested also on the typology of CORINE habitats, their relationship with the fitocoenological units, and their application to management and environmental evaluation. With the rising of GIS tools I worked in the adaptation of the methods and products of analog thematic cartography to the digital one. Since some years ago I have centred my work on the field of vegetation mapping and of the cartography of CORINE habitats at different scales.
