The research group on solution equilibria
and Chemometrics is one of the eigh working groups at the Department of
Analytical Chemistry. Nowadays, five professors, one assistant professor
and several post-graduate students, as well as foreign students, form this
group.
Research in our group was initially focused
on the study of solution equilibria by means of potentiometric and
spectrophotometric techniques. Nowadays, the research activites can be
grouped into four areas: development, improvent and application of
chemometric analysis tools, development of continuous analytical methods
and chemical sensors, the study and interpretation of processes involving
nucleic acids and proteins and, finally, the determination of analytes in food
and biomedical samples. Modern instrumental and mathematical methods of
analysis are used in this job.
Here, you will find some information about
our group, as well as our activities and the projects in which we are
working on. |
