Visiting Scholar at European University Institute (Florence School of Regulation) between May and July 2009 and at Princeton Univeristy during 2013-2014. Researcher ICREA-Academia (2011-2015).

Has recently received the “William E. and Frederick Mosher Award” for the best 2009 academic article by the American Society for Public Administration (ASPA). Awarded for the best 2010 academic article, US Academy of Management (Public & Nonprofit Division). Awarded with XIII Prize Catalunya d’Economia (Societat Catalana d’Economia-Institut d’Estudis Catalans) to the beat research in Economics in 2011; the prize is given for the book Espanya, capital París.Barcelona: Destino 2010 (ESP); Barcelona: La Campana 2011 (CAT).
