The Faculty of Philology, set of the TV Series Merlí: Sapere Aude

 

The Faculty of Philology hosted from last May 20th and for ten weeks the shooting of the first season of Merlí: Sapere Aude, the Merlí series’ spin off. Thus, various classrooms and spaces of the Faculty’s Historic Building became the main locations for the series. It will consist of eight fifty-minute episodes and will air on December on TV3 and Movistar +.

Merlí: Sapere Aude, which takes place four months after the end of the original series, tells the experiences of Pol Rubio (Carlos Cuevas) as a Philosophy student. College world will bring new friends and professors to Pol, in addition to the responsibilities of the adult life. Besides, he will have to learn to overcome the loss of his main model and mentor, the controversial teacher Merlí.
