Most of the UB courses to be made available for first-time students for the academic year 2009-10 will be the new undergraduate degrees designed according to the directives of the European Higher Education Area: the EHEA bachelor’s degrees. For just this year, however, the university will continue to offer a certain number of the courses following the outgoing system for undergraduate study, which comprises diplomas (diplomatures), undergraduate degrees (llicenciatures) and engineering degrees. These will become bachelor’s degrees in the year 2010-11.
