Adrián Solís Peña
LOGOS; Barcelona Institute of Analytic Philosophy; Red Española de Metafísica
In 2019 I obtained my "Grau" (=BA) in Philosophy at the University of Barcelona (UB). Next, at the same University in 2021, I finished the MA in Analytic Philosophy. My main philosophical interests lie in questions of metaphysics and meta-metaphysics, broadly understood, but focused in a neo-Aristotelian framework.
Now I am a PhD Candidate in Philosophy at the University of Barcelona, and my thesis is focused on the existence and nature of ordinary material objects, more specifically on the hylomorphic proposals of artefacts, under the main supervision of Marta Campdelcareu and the co-supervision of Sergi Oms. My research project is founded by a FI Grant from Generalitat de Catalunya.
Outside of the philosophical realm I enjoy practising Aikido, hiking in the mountains, reading Catalan and Spanish poetry, as well as fantasy and horror literature.
