I'm a PhD student at the LOGOS group and at the Department of Philosophy at the University of Helsinki since fall 2006. My current interests are predicates of taste, disagreement and questions on contextualism and relativism in semantics. I'm planning my PhD thesis on these topics under the supervision of Manuel García-Carpintero. Generally I am interested in language and mind and their relation, with a preference to philosophy that relies on empirical sciences.

I did my undergraduate and Master's studies at the University of Helsinki. During my Master's studies I spent the year 2004-2005 at the University of California, Berkeley as a visiting student.

Interests

Philosophy of Language: Contextualism, relativism, semantics / pragmatics distinction.

Philosophy of Mind / Cognitive Sciences: Relation of thought and language, problems of agency.

Psychology: Animal cognition, evolution of language and cognition, clinical psychology.
