I’m associate professor of the Department of Philosophy of the University of Girona. I got my Ph.D. from the University of Barcelona in 1998. My dissertation was on the subject of physicalism and ever since I’ve been concerned with the problems and prospects of an overall physicalist position.
I’ve written papers on mental causation and in general on the mind-body problem and I’m currently working on the problems of formulation of physicalism and on conceivability arguments for dualism. I’m also working on a general introduction to the philosophy of mind in Spanish.
Interests Philosophy of mind, metaphysics, philosophy of science, philosophy of language
