was founded in 1993, and has been officially recognized as a consolidated research group by the Generalitat de Catalunya since 2001 (last grant: SGR2009-1077). The members
of LOGOS are primarily researchers and students from different Catalan universities and research institutions, working on core issues in analytic philosophy, with a strong focus on the philosophy of language.
The group regularly hosts researchers and students visiting from other institutions. LOGOS' research projects
cover topics in semantics, logic, metaphysics, epistemology, philosophy of mind, philosophy of science, and metaethics.
The group's activities
include weekly seminars and reading groups, public Colloquia by invited speakers, and the organization of conferences and workshops.
