Constitution of Internal Relations

13 June 2018  |  15:00  |  Seminario de Lógica ("Ramon Lllull")

Abstract

In this talk, I elaborate on the taxonomy of internal relations proposed in Keinänen, Keskinen & Hakkarainen 2017 and Hakkarainen, Keinänen & Keskinen 2018. This happens by means of the notion of generic identity (Correia 2017; Correia & Skiles 2017). I suggest that generic identity can specify the notion of derivateness that we left for future research. With that notion in hand, I can say that derived internal relations such as resemblance among objects are constituted by different internal relations when the constitution is understood as generic identity. The constitution of derived internal relations is generic identity.
