This poster exhibited in Buenos Aires (2015) presents the type of research work (TFG / TFM) in terms of Service-learning in the several faculties. This modality allows students to learn to investigate in their area of ​​knowledge in relation to real problems that have been raised and agreed with social, health and/or educational institutions, turning research into a more applied and meaningful process, with more social utility.

8th  Health ScienceT Teachers Meeting: Experience presented at the 8th meeting of professors of Health Sciences in 2014

The NHiD students' stays in summer colonies and camps for children and young people with type I diabetes fulfill the pedagogical role of deepening in a specific field of education such as learning how to handle this pathology in Real situations and diabetological education in situations that are not those that usually occur in the consultation. They contribute to the theoretical knowledge acquired in education and, at the same time, offer community service by transmitting to children and young people useful tools in order to promote the autonomy and self-control of diabetes. The colonies are organized by the ADC (Diabetic Association of Catalonia) with the support of the Diabetes Advisory Council of the Department of Health of the Generalitat de Catalunya, the Diputació de Barcelona, ​​the Catalan Diabetes Association and the Collaboration from various hospital centers.
