    • In the field of family business she has developed pioneering comparative theoretical analysis in Spain, and published relevant case studies. She maintains stable networks of research cooperation with members of the Lancaster University, Bocconi of Milan, Madrid Complutense, York University, UniAndes of Bogotá and CONICET in Argentina. Her publications include El rostro familiar de la metrópoli (Madrid, Siglo XXI, 1997), Un siglo y medio de trefilería en España (Barcelona, Trivium,2004), La última globalización y el renacer de los grandes negocios familiares en el mundo (Bogotá, Cátedra Corona, 2012), and around twenty articles in well-known academic journals. She has been editor or coeditor of Del metal al motor. Innovación y atraso en las industrias metal-mecánicas en España (with P. Pascual in FBBVA, 2007), Innovation and entrepreneurial networks in Europe (with MB Rose, New York, Routledge 2010), Family Multinationals (with C. Lubinski and J. Fear in Routledge, New York, 2013) and The Endurance of Family Businesses (with A. Colli in Cambridge University Press, 2013). She received one of the first prize awards to excellence in research and internationalization ICREA Academy (2008-2013).
