In 1983, the FBG managed some 10 projects with a total budget of 480,000 euros. Today it manages almost a thousand projects and has a budget of around 30 million euros. The force behind the creation of the Barcelona Science Park, the FBG has helped more than 45 impresarios to set up their own companies and has obtained more than 8.5 million euros for the companies it advises in the form of public grants, risk capital, and other resources. 


In the last 25 years the FBG has been alert to new demands and has detected new areas for possible cooperation. The dynamic interaction that has emerged between the University and the business world has produced significant results.
