Our small laboratory focuses on the field of human molecular genetics and emerged several years ago from the twin Molecular Genetics Genetics Laboratory. Members from both laboratories collaborate in some research projects and belong to the same research teams within our institutions. We presently are interested in basic research as well as applied research focusing on the diagnosis of specific genetic disorders. Members of the laboratory belong both, to the University of Barcelona and to the main city Hospital (Hospital Clínic).
