Dr. Juan Martínez Heredia obtained is PhD at our laboratory in 2008 with the Thesis entitled "Proteomic characterisation of human spermatozoa. Differential proteins in asthenozoospermic patients". Of note, one of his thesis publications (Martínez-Heredia et al. (2008) was a seminal publication in the field of sperm cell proteomics and has received over 160 citations.
