The group collaborates with the Literacy at Work project ( http://www.literacyatwork.org/ ), coordinated by the textile company Stampa. At this moment it is estimated that out of 1,000,000 of textile factory workers in Bangla Desh, more than 50% are completely illiterate. This project intends to teach them literacy in their work place during their working hours, and to convert literacy into a company requirement, alongside prohibition of child-labor in factories. GRERLI Members, under the direction of Liliana Tolchinsky, have produced the initial pedagocial work, the first 30 literacy lessons, the evaluation criteria and instruments, and the teacher training tasks.
