5. Nanoestructured Materials

Research area 5 encompasses the following research lines:

 

5.1. Synthesis, nanomanufacturing and nanomanipulation.
5.2. thin layers, nanostructured multilayers and coatings.
5.3. Nanoparticles, gels, nanofibers, nanorods and nanotubes.
5.4. Nanoestructured metallic Oxydes.
5.5.Nanocompounds.
5.6. Mesoporous Materials and Nanopatterns.






 

 

 

The main aims within these research lines are the development of new nanostructured materials which offer an improvement as far as the properties of already existing materials are concerned.

Research area 5 is composed of the following research groups:

1. Electrodeposition and Thin layers
2. Homogeneous Catalysis
3. Amorfous and Nanoestructured Materials. Ohysics and Engineering (FEMAN).
4. Colloidal Systems Engineering.
5. Surface Engineering. Thin Layer Lab.
6. Self-organized Complexity and Self-assembling Materials.
