Olivia Salimbeni (PhD) is Research Assistant at the Department of Education. She has cooperated with Prof. Giovanna Campani for many years. She is an expert in migration and labour market issues. She has participated in several European projects, such as: “HeiRat I – Marriage as Immigration Gate: The Situation of Female Marriage Migrants from Third Countries in the EU Member States” (2002), “HeiRat II – Protection and Aid Measures for Female Marriage Migrants from Third Countries in the Member States of the European Union” (2003), “FeMiPol – Integration of female immigrants in labour market and society. Policy assessment and policy recommendations” (2008); and “INCLUD-ED – Strategies for inclusion and social cohesion in Europe from education” (028603-2, CITIZENS-2004-2.1.2) (2006-2011) and “PRIMTS – Prospects for Integration of Migrants from Third Countries and their Labour Market Situation: Towards Policies and Action” (JLS/2007/IF/CA/011) (2008-2010).
