Doctor in Sociology from the University of Barcelona and Doctor from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Researcher at the Romà Studies Centre - CREA, at the University of Barcelona and in the R&D project CALLÍ BUTIPEN. Romaní women and labour market (2002-04 Spanish Ministry of Employment and Social Affairs) and in the TSER project ACCESS. University access and Social Exclusion (1997-2001). Her dissertation is focused on Romaní girls’ dropout in Europe.
