XVI Cultural Conferences of the Federation of Roma Associations in Catalonia (FAGIC)

Barcelona, Spain. Ramon Flecha (the main researcher) and Elena Duque (the project manager) in the Includ-ed project participated in the  XVI Cultural Conferences of the Federation of Roma Associations in Catalonia (FAGIC). Both conferences presented the Includ-ed project, the first one was more focused on analysing inclusive education and the second one presented the main Includ-ed results. Special emphasis was placed on the results of Project 2: effective educational practices. It is important to mention that both researchers were invited by Julio Vargas, the FAGIC vice-president and member of the Panel of Experts Committee. This Federation was especially interested in finding out more about the impact of the Includ-ed results on the Roma community. These conferences were attended by around 50 people from different fields: FAGIC members, Roma associations, teachers and members of the general public.
