Short bio

In 2009 I finished my undergraduate studies of Bachelor of Psychology from the Universidad del Desarrollo (Concepción, Chile). I started to work in primary health care until 2011, when I obtained a scholarship from the Government of Chile to undertake postgraduate studies at the University of Barcelona (Spain). In 2013 I finished a Masters programme in Clinical and Health Psychology and I immediately started a PhD programme, obtaining the degree of Doctor in Clinical and Health Psychology in the year 2015. I currently work as a Professor and researcher at the University Catholic Temuco (Temuco, Chile). My main research interests are related to the study of obesity, eating disorders and body image.
