Short bio

In 2017, I obtained my bachelor’s degree in psychology with a clinical specialization at the Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV). In this institution I was able to sign my first collaboration contract in the world of research. The following year I continued my studies completing a master's degree in ´General Health Psychology´ at the University of Barcelona (UB). I also completed the postgraduate in techniques and basic principles in cognitive therapy and the postgraduate in analysis of constructivist therapeutic processes, both taught at UB, as well as the intensive training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy offered by DBT Iberoamérica. During my post-graduate studies, I became involved with the research group ´Intervention in Clinical and Health Psychology´, which was undertaken within the same Faculty. In 2019, I became an active member of the research team due to the obtainment of a scholarship, which allowed me to begin my training as a predoctoral researcher and professor (APIF). I received my PhD in Clinical and Health Psychology at UB in 2023.

My research interest focuses on the study of identity construction in individuals that suffer from borderline personality disorder using the Repertory Grid Technique as one of the main assessment instruments. In addition, I collaborate on other projects of the group, and I have had the opportunity to teach in some of the undergraduate Psychology modules presented at the UB such as clinical psychology, psychological intervention, and systemic family intervention. I currently work as a clinical psychologist providing psychotherapy services in Barcelona and online in Catalan, Spanish and English to people suffering from borderline personality disorder and other anxiety and mood disorders.
