Citizen science to avoid the dispersal of the brown marble heron in Catalonia

Through the HhWanted project, IRTA, the Department of Agriculture and the University of Barcelona and IRBioUB intend to collect information on the distribution of the invasive species *Halyomorpha Halys* (Insecta, Heteroptera, Pentatomidae).
This tool will help identify the presence of the species and know its Biology, and will help to facilitate control measures to avoid the dispersion of this exotic stink Bug in all the environments in which it is developed in our territory.

Observadores del Mar

Observadores del Mar

Observadores del Mar collects observations and experience of citizens about phenomena that occur in the sea, for marine research.
Data are collected on the distribution and abundance of common marine species, the appearance of marine species, 'rare' or invasive species, or the presence of effects on the ecosystem (organism mortality, surface and background contamination). Data are used in research projects to better understand the effects of global warming, pollution, biodiversity changes, invasions of alien species and overfishing being over the sea.
