Citizen science to avoid the dispersal of the brown marble heron in Catalonia

Through the HhWanted project, IRTA, the Department of Agriculture and the University of Barcelona intend to collect information on the distribution of the invasive species *Halyomorpha Halys* (Insecta, Heteroptera, Pentatomidae).
This tool will help identify the presence of the species and know its Biology, and will help to facilitate control measures to avoid the dispersion of this exotic Xinxa in all the environments in which it is developed in our territory.

Observadores del Mar

Observadores del Mar

Observadores del Mar collects observations and experience of citizens about phenomena that occur in the sea, for marine research.
Data are collected on the distribution and abundance of common marine species, the appearance of marine species, 'rare' or invasive species, or the presence of effects on the ecosystem (organism mortality, surface and background contamination). Data are used in research projects to better understand the effects of global warming, pollution, biodiversity changes, invasions of alien species and overfishing being over the sea.
Organized: ICM / CSIC

RiuNet

RiuNet

RiuNet is an interactive educational tool that guides any citizen in the diagnosis of the hydrological and ecological status of a river. At the same time, it is a science-related science project since it provides scientific data to researchers from the Freshwater Ecology, Hydrology and Management Research Group (FEHMlab).

ZamiaDroid

ZamiaDroid

ZamiaDroid is an App for taking field data and consulting remote database of biodiversity. It facilitates the capture of georeferenced data through forms. You can enter textual data (simple or indexed in thesaurus) and / or photographs for the definition of customized projects. The data can be edited and represented on cartographic maps.

Liquencity

Liquencity

LiquenCity is a citizen science project to discover the diversity of lichens that live in the trees of Barcelona and Madrid and relate it to the quality of the air.
The project seeks the participation of the inhabitants of both cities, which, along with the collaboration of an expert team in lichens, will find and identify the lichens that live in both capitals.
