MEDICINAL PLANTS IN THE QUEQUICOM TVPROGRAM
"Medicinal Plants, Tradition and Science" is the title of the chapter that will be broadcast by the QUÈQUICOM program on Channel 33 next Wednesday, October 4, at 10 pm, with the participation of UB experts Salvador Cañigueral (Faculty of Pharmacy and Food Sciences) and Joan Vallès (Faculty of Pharmacy and Food Science and Institute for Biodiversity Research - IRBio).
In the new chapter also intervene Fra Valentí Serra de Manresa, a compiler of ancient botanical manuals and medicinal plant recipes; Anna Escalé, author of a guide for the therapeutic use of medicinal plants in Berguedà; Luis Matías, principal investigator of Sequetina Biotech; the cook Iolanda Bustos and the herbalist Carles Farran.
