One hundred species of birds nest in Barcelona. BTV
The atlas, it is a project between the Ajuntament de Barcelona, the Zoo Foundation, the Institute for Ornithology of Catalonia and UB, started in 2012, and for three seasons, dozens of volunteers to conduct surveys field. The objective is to find the location of the species that nest in Barcelona. After three years of observation and documentation of the atlas makers have advanced BTV some of the results. Have been reported just over 200 species, 102 of which are reproduced in the city.
