Research staff
On April 16, at the Faculty of Biology, University of Barcelona, held a seminar to learn and understand the ecology of large carnivores, but also the different social factors related to economic and political presence in the region.

The last century has seen the increasing human pressure on ecosystems has led to a crisis of global biodiversity. In this scenario some wildlife groups have been particularly affected, as is the case of large carnivores.

For the persistence and recovery of large darnívors our environment, we must adopt models of acceptable coexistence between human activities and these species. This poses a challenge to all stakeholders directly involved and society in general.
