Signed the Collaboration Agreement between the University of Barcelona and the Institute of Catalan Studies for the promotion of collaboration in educational research between the Institute for Research in Education (IRE) and the Catalan Society of Pedagogy of the IEC.
The collaboration agreement aims to stimulate the development of joint activities in order to consolidate the research activities and the dissemination of the research results of the two institutions.
The specific actions of collaboration include:
- The development of joint research projects that are of interest to both parties, promoting the constitution of joint working teams and the exchange of research personnel or personnel undergoing training.
- The promotion of the exchange and transfer of knowledge through the organisation of academic and other activities of particular interest.
- Collaboration in the obtainment of regional, national and international sources of funding for the development of research projects and activities in which both institutions participate.
- The promotion of the creation of networks and other types of associations aimed at the exchange of experiences for the development of educational research and the improvement of research personnel in the area.
- The coordination of activities to make research visible, in particular through the journal of the Catalan Society of Pedagogy.
The duration of the agreement is 4 years, which may be extended.
