Training Course: Specific tools in your work with refugees: Communication, Life Skills and Screening

It is a training course within the framework of the European RESCUE Project addressed to University staff working or interested in working with refugees, asylum seekers or people from conflict zones.

You can attend the full four-module course or modules separately.

The course will consist of 35 hours of classroom teaching and 24 hours of independent work. It will take place from 11 to 15 June at the Institute for Professional Development – IDP ICE University of Barcelona , in the Migdia I building of the Mundet Campus.

 

The modules and schedule are as follows:

Communication Skills – Tuesday 11 June from 10 am to 7 pm

Development of Assessment Skills – Wednesday 12 June from 10 am to 7 pm and Friday 14 June from 5 to 7 pm

Life Skills for the Employability – Thursday 13 June from 1 to 6 pm and Friday 14 June from 10 am to 2 pm

Life Skills for the Transition to the Job Market – Friday 14 June from 3 to 5 pm and Saturday 15 June from 10 am to 5 pm

 

Participation will be certified with an individual certificate.
