- Mercè Comes is an active participant in the EEES Masters for “History of Science: Science, History and Society,” at the University of Barcelona, which received the Quality Award from the Spanish Ministry of Education and Science. The general coordination of the program is carried out by the CEHIC (Centre for History of Science Studies, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona). She is also the Coordinator of the corresponding UB Ph.D. Program which also was awarded with the Quality distinction by the Spanish Ministry of Education and Science. At the University of Barcelona, the Ph.D. is under the auspices of the Faculty of Philology (Department of Semitic Languages [Area of Arabic and Islamic Studies] and Department of Latin), the Faculty of Philosophy (Department of Logic, History and Philosophy of Science) and the Faculty of Mathematics (Department of Probability, Logic and Statistics).
