The city

Barcelona is the capital of Catalonia, and the second most populated city of Spain. It is beautifully surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea, and the Ridge of Collserola. It is a very popular touristdestination with its old and new world enchantment that you can find in the restaurants, entertainment and shopping areas, streets and squares. Barcelona is has a special reputation for its architecture and urban spaces as well as the surrounding mountains, the ocean and beaches, and above all, its people. The Catalan people are known world-wide their hospitality and charm. You can also enjoy visiting interesting museums and theaters, beautiful buildings and parks, and of course, eating delicious Mediterranean food while sipping local wines. Although the weather is characterized by pleasant sunny days during all the year, the summer temperature does range between 29ºC, during hottest days, to19ºC, at night, with humidity around 68%.
