| SUMMARY: | Within the framework of the European project AMPER, this study describes the prosody of an informant from the area of Barcelona. It covers sentences formed by subject, verb and complement in declarative and interrogative modes (interrogative sentences both being headed by the que interrogative particle and without it). All sentences have three pitch accents and vary in the type of word (oxytone, paroxytone and proparoxytone). A perceptual test formed by sentences standardised out of each single repetition and emptied of lexical content evaluates the description of both modes. |
