Edition guidelines
All contributions will have been NEVER PUBLISHED PREVIOUSLY IN ANY FORM, and they should be delivered in floppy disk in Windows support (preferably Word 2000), together with a hard copy, and a 5-line abstract in English. The disk should be labelled, specifying the name of the author, the title of the paper and the word processor used.
The paper will contain a title (Times New Roman, 16, capital letters, centred); followed, two lines below, by the complete name of the author (Times New Roman, 12, bold, right); below this, the name of the institution or centre to which the author belongs (Times New Roman, 12, right).
The paper SHOULD NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, EXCEED THE 15 PAGES, including notes and bibliography. The space between the lines will be simple.
The papers can be written in any of the following languages: Catalan, Spanish, English.
The font will be Lucida Bright, 10 (if this font is not available, we would be grateful if the text was delivered in the alternative font Times New Roman, 10). Paragraphs will be justified. Even and odd pages different, first page different.
Margins will be: top 6; bottom 6; left 4,4; right 4; top of the page 4; foot of the page 4; no space for binding.
Bold will not be used under any circumstances. Italics will be used only to refer to titles of works or, alternatively, to highlight foreign words.
Dashes (-) will be used for explanations incorporated in the body of the paper, long dashes ( ) for dialogues, but NEVER double dash (--).
Short quotes (less than 4 lines) will be integrated in the body of the text, between inverted commas (" "). Simple commas (' ') will only be used inside inverted commas.
Quotes longer than 4 lines will be separated from the text by double return, as an independent paragraph, without inverted commas and preceded by double indentation to the left hand side.
When words or phrases are omitted from the text, this will be indicated through the use of three dots between brackets [...].
The system author-date will be used for citation. That is to say, bibliographical references will always be placed in parentheses, after the quote, and specifying author, year of edition and page (Camps 2000: 88). They will always be included in the final bibliography, in alphabetical order, and with the complete name and surname of the authors.
All notes will be footnotes, and they will be numbered consecutively. The number will always appear after the punctuation sign, if there is one. The font used will be Lucida Bright 8 (if this font was not available, we would be grateful if, alternatively, Times New Roman 8 would be used). The paragraphs will be justified with simple spacing. Footnotes will be used ONLY to clarify issues of the main text, never to offer bibliographical references.
The text will always contain the corresponding "Bibliographical References", placed at the end of the document, and presented in alphabetical order. Here are some examples:
