The striking presence of countries from the Arab and Islamic world and their citizens in our society means that mechanisms for mutual understanding are necessary, particularly given our education system’s general lack of specific training in that respect. This master’s degree course aims to provide the keys to understanding the Arab and Islamic world both as a whole and in its diversity, and, thus, to facilitate intercommunication between members of different cultures. The course’s language-related content mainly focuses on Arabic, due to its complexity and relevance.
