Guidelines on the research project and other academic activities
1. Students will be required to write a research project at the end of the degree course. The project, which will count for a total of 15 credits, will be supervised by one of the teachers on the course and will relate to one of the lines of research listed further below. It can take the form of either an original research project or a detailed presentation of recent findings in research, and it will be compulsory.
2. Students may gain up to 5 credits for their accredited attendance of research activities organized by the University of Barcelona, the Catalan Society of Classical Studies, the Catalan Philosophy Society (or the Catalan Section of the Spanish Society of Classical Studies), or the Iberian Society of Greek Philosophy. Alternatively, these same credits may be awarded for student attendance at conventions, roundtables and international seminars and other such events recognized by the course coordinators.
3. Students will be encouraged to use the UB's student mobility resources to complete a stay in a university that has a learning agreement with the UB and to study part or all of the practical module during this stay.
