Water is
essential to life and of major importance to the balanced development of
our society. An increasing number of actors are involved in water
management and water research is now an interdisciplinary field.
Consequently,
in its university master’s degree course «Water. Interdisciplinary
Analysis and Sustainable Management», the University of Barcelona offers
comprehensive, cross-disciplinary and integrated training in the field
of water management studies. The course is designed to train future
professionals of water management and to initiate students in research
in this field.
Due to its interdisciplinary nature, this master’s
degree is designed for all graduates who express an interest in the
area. Students should have the necessary academic background to develop
general and specialised knowledge of the issues involved in water
management.
