The Master of aquaculture is aimed primarily at current licensed, qualified technicians and engineers who want to have adequate training in aquaculture. Sought to be necessary professionals in the sector with a high scientific level, with a multidisciplinary technical domain, which may have administrative and management responsibilities. It is expected that aquaculture and associated industries and services grow at European level in the coming years.

The areas in which the graduate may work are:

• Aquaculture production to varying levels of responsibility.
• Creation of new companies, consultancies (at Catalan, national or European level).
• Development of international projects, industries directly related to aquaculture, as production of feed, drugs and vaccines for fish.
• Fish processing, marketing, pharmaceutical industry.
• Can also access various public authorities, and research in both the enterprise and the public sector.
