The knowledge of Biodiversity is an emerging branch in Biology that in the last decade has got out towards the public and political domain. Knowing the diversity of living beings, their origin and evolution, and how such diversity is conserved and managed has not only an academic interest. It turns to be indispensable to assure a sustainable development of our society, and a correct management of the territory and natural environment .
The Master is addressed to graduates (4/5 year studies at the university) and superior graduates, in Biosciences, Environment Sciences and related fields, and to professionals (teaching, public administration, NGOs, environment consultants, etc.) interested in an updated and high quality education in Biodiversity.
