CALL FOR A PRE-DOCTORAL POSITION

Hepatic isquemia-reperfusion research group is offering one pre-doctoral position for a student with University Degree to conduct to a doctoral (PhD) thesis and the completion of the doctor degree.

RESEARCH DESCRIPTION:

Development of protective surgical and pharmacological therapeutic strategies that reduce isquemia-reperfusion injury and enhance regenerative response in steatotic livers submitted to liver resections or liver transplantation.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Being in possession of the official University Degree in Biology, Pharmacia, Medicine or Chemistry.

- Candidates must have good academic records in order to qualify for the application to pre-doctoral fellowships.

- Students may be Spanish citizens, European and non-European citizens.

WE OFFER:

- The commitment and funding of the research group for the pre-doctoral student obtains the PhD degree in the course of the time that student holds a fellowship.

- Stimulate pre-doctoral student involvement in publications with recognized impact index within the specialty, and support his or her participation in the development of research projects.

OFERTA TESIS DOCTORAL

Grupo de investigación en Isquemia-Reperfusión hepática requiere una persona con posibilidad de realizar una Tesis Doctoral.

TEMA:

Desarrollo de estrategias protectoras ya sean quirúrgicas, y/o farmacológicas que reduzcan la lesión inducida por isquemia-reperfusión y aumenten la regeneración de hígados esteatósicos sometidos a resecciones hepáticas o a trasplante.

REQUISITOS:

Se requiere que la persona interesada sea Titulado Superior en una carrera experimental (Biologia, Farmacia, Medicina, Química) con buen expediente académico para poder optar a la solicitud de becas pre-doctorales pertinentes. Los solicitantes pueden ser ciudadanos españoles, ciudadanos comunitarios y no comunitarios.
