MASTER IN BIOTECHNOLOGY
Molecular Biotechnology is an ideal platform to achieve a solid knowledge, techniques and operational methods in biotechnology for graduates and professionals related to biomedical, industrial, pharmaceutical, agro-livestock, food, environmental fields, and all those interested in aspects and basic processes and biotechnological products.
Its interdisciplinary nature involves various departments of the Faculties of Biology, Chemistry and Pharmacy, at the University of Barcelona.
In addition, this Masters will provide the necessary training to access later on PhD Studies in the field of biotechnology or other related PhD programs.
The Master in Molecular Biotechnology is framed in the Postgraduate studies in Biotechnology at the UB.
It is important to take into account that the PhD studies in biotechnology have obtained the Award versus excellence by the Spanish Education Ministry, Ref. MEE2011-0672, for the academic year 2011-12 until 2012-2013 (Resolution of 6 October 2011 the Secretary of State Universities).
Courses of this master has generated the Erasmus Mundus Master Biohealth computing indicating that this master is also compromized at the international level.
