PERSEUS Summer School |
|
The first PERSEUS Summer School has been announced, to be held on 3-7 June 2013,
in Constanta, Romania.
The title of the Summer School, organised
by the National Institute for Marine Research and Development "Grigore Antipa"
(NIMRD) Constanta, is "The contribution of environmental indices in meeting the
objectives and principles of the MSFD".
The planning of the school is jointly
done with Consorzio Nazionale Interuniversitario per le Scienze del Mare
(CoNISMa) and the University of Malta (UoM) .
The school is open to young researchers
and PhD students, with a scientific background in biological, physical and/or
chemical oceanography, that are willing to expand their field of interest.
Applicants who are in a position to disseminate the experience gained from the
school to others will be favoured.
Applications are accepted from both
PERSEUS partner and non-partner institutions.
The course will be limited to 15
participants.

Recordamos a los interesados que la convocatoria para 2013 del Programa
de Becas para realizar Estudios de Doctorado en Brasil, en la
Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP), cerrará el día 15 de marzo.
El programa ofrece 21 becas con una dotación de R$ 2.000 mensuales
durante un plazo máximo de 48 meses. Los programas de doctorado
ofertados en esta convocatoria tienen todos la calificación de
excelencia.
Las becas van dirigidas a profesores e investigadores no brasileños
vinculados a instituciones de educación superior de Iberoamérica
(incluidos España y Portugal).

the genes that control the masculinisation process in spiny lobsters,
discovering new targets for sex reversal and sterility induction, important for
