To be awarded the degree, the student must successfully complete the 90 ECTS credits programmed over the two-year academic period.
The master is organized in the following manner: The first-year teaching period (60 credits, face-to-face) is divided in three academically-oriented modules:
Module I. Epistemology of the sociology of penal law (20 credits)
Module II. Penal system: risk and emergency in contemporary society (20 credits)
Module III. The penal system and social problems (20 credits)
The second-year teaching period (30 credits, distance) comprises a research-oriented module in which the student prepares the final project or the dissertation:
