The objectives of this interdisciplinary and interuniversitary master are double: first of al, an advancing of knowledge about Latin-American societies (their history, anthropology, economics, politics, language and literature).
Moreover we seek to provide our students with the skills to conduct research in History, Anthropology, Economics, Politics, Social Studies, Language and Literature in the history of Latin America from the past to the present day.
Participating Universities: Universitat de Barcelona (coordinator), Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and Universitat Pompeu Fabra.

Total amount of credits (ECTS): 60
Obligatory credits: 15 (subjects) + 20 (final investigation)
Optional credits: 25
Places: 35
Teaching language: mainly Spanish, however some optional subjects are taught in Catalan and English
Study fields: history, anthropology, literature and language, philology, law, economics, social and political sciences.
